single 909 8A sells for $114.5

Well who ever purchased it may never report to us what size it is sadly. I just rebuild my 908-8b drivers with aluminum diaphragms, removed the loading caps and installed new rear covers with felts. All parts purchased from Bill at GPA. I used new stainless steel philips head screws so it has all new hardware as well.
Next on my list is machining a set of adapters with a taper bore that tapers from 7/8" to 1", 3/4" thick to fit into my HeathKit AS101 cabinets. With the adapters it will wind up the same length as the stock 806-8A drivers. I was servicing a big saw today at an aluminum distributor, picked up 3 pieces of 4" OD stock .800 long gratis. Now off to the lathe and mill.
